Life is really all about those simple pleasures like distressed jeans and scarves that fit right, and shirts that don’t come out of the washer looking like they’ve been attacked by a cheetah, amiright? I was so excited when my old friend Megan asked me to help her brand her new business, where she offers all of those simple pleasures to eager shoppers looking to beautify their fall wardrobe. Megan and I go way back…as in, preschool. We went to Hawaii together in 7th grade and we used to stay up late prank phone calling our teachers for fun. So anyway, you can imagine my excitement to reconnect after all this time! Megan has always had great style, so her new online shop, The Poppy Boutique is nothing short of fabulous.
Side Note / Sort of Announcement: I QUIT MY VERY LAST STEADY JOB / SIDE GIG THING! I’m so excited! It was great, and I loved it. But I’m 100% self-employed now. Which is so incredibly exciting and so incredibly nerve wracking. I feel like I just jumped off a cliff without a parachute, but you guys, my people, have done a great job at catching me lately. I’m not sure if that analogy made sense, but what I’m trying to say is this: Thank you from the bottom of my heart. If you’ve ever bought a $5 printable or a $500 brand set, or even just shared your business excitement with me, THANK YOU! I appreciate you more than words. I also opened another little business as kind of a safety net in case everyone in the world decides they don’t need logos or printables anymore. But, that’s a story for a little bit later. And I’m going to go out on a limb here and say there is a pretty good chance this blog will be getting some more attention in the coming months than it has in the past. But you know my disclaimer: that is only if my two wild boys allow it. They’d rather me watch them watch Paw Patrol than (heaven forbid!) open my laptop and try in sneak in a quick 20 minutes of work.
Without further ado, here are some of the stylish things Megan is offering and we did a bang up job on her logo set, if I do say so myself. What do you think?!
